O meu nome é Joana, tenho 22 anos e sou da margem sul(Seixal). Comecei a interessar-me por esta área com 5 anos. Inicialmente eu era a minha própria cliente. Com o passar dos anos este interesse foi crescendo e comecei a cortar o cabelo dos meus amigos. Na escola secundária já cortava o cabelo a grande parte da escola e foi então que decidi tirar o curso e dedicar-me a esta profissão.
Um dia, enquanto passeava pela Bica, descobri o WIP-Hairport e apaixonei-me imediatamente pelo salão porque percebi que para o WIP-Hairport o cabelo não tem limites. Entreguei o currículo e fiquei à espera de que me chamassem. Três anos mais tarde abriu o Motor-Hairport e fui finalmente convidada a integrar a equipa. Agora tenho a liberdade para aplicar toda a minha criatividade nesta profissão.
A minha outra paixão é a música. Nos meus tempos livres escrevo, componho e canto. Já pertenci a várias bandas mas neste momento tenho um projecto a solo. Sou influenciada por vários estilos musicais e músicos, entre os quais Stevie Wonder, Laurin Hill, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down e Amy Winehouse.

My name is Joana, I’m 22 years old and I come from Seixal. I’ve gained interest in hairdressing when I was 5. Initially I was my own customer. After a few years this interest grew and I started to do haircuts to my friends.
At school I was almost everybody’s hairdresser and that made me follow this as a career.
One day, when I was walking down Rua da Bica, I discovered WIP-Hairport and fell immediatly in love with their concept. I left my CV and waited for them to contact me. Motor-Hairport opened three years later and I was invited to be part of the team. Now I can finally use all my creativity within my profession.
My other passion is music. On my spare time I write, compose and sing. I used to be part of a few bands but now I have a solo project. I’m influenced by many music styles and musicians, like Stevie Wonder, Lurin Hill, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down and Amy Winehouse.
